Insulting Azerbaijanis in Iranian papers

. It is said to be an explanation of the recent movement in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani’s are fighting against Persian (Fars) chauvinism. The author of this story says Azerbaijani can never win the battle for their freedom and even will be punished (by their life) for what they have done.

As it says, Azerbaijani’s are cockroaches! but it also names the Iranian-Fars authority as a killer lizard. It is unbelievable how a writer can expose such hatred against others. They believe they are the only power in Iran and other nations must obey them.

New Violence Reported in Germany Ahead of G8 Summit

. Authorities say some 400 extremists pelted police with bottles as they protested restrictions on refugees and asylum seekers in G8 countries.

The clashes were the second outbreak of violence ahead of Heiligendamm summit. With public access to the resort closed, demonstrators have been meeting in Rostok. A riot Saturday left about 1,000 people injured.

Editor in chief of Sahra-Turkman magazine is attacked by 2 unknown people, magazine will be shutdown

. Mr. Dieji was attacked by 2 people when he was returning from hospital, reports say.

Aahra magazine is one of local publications for Turkman’s in Turkmansahra. It is facing a difficult time by having economical problems. Government of Iran pays some cash as support for local magazins, but not for those in Turkish area.

Sanchez: US can forget about winning in Iraq

. Sanchez, 56, declined to talk about Abu Ghraib or other key events of the war, or say who was to blame for what went wrong.
