. Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan’s former prime minister, has been deported to Saudi Arabia amid high drama hours after arriving in Islamabad and ending a seven year exile.

“Nawaz Sharif is now out of Pakistan. He is going back to Saudi Arabia,” Ijaz-ul Haq, Pakistan’s religious affairs minister, said on Monday.

Al-Maliki Defends Government, Urges Regional Support
