Iraqis sue Blackwater in US

. Families of Iraqis who died in a shooting involving Blackwater USA contractors in Baghdad have sued the company, saying the firm violated US law and fostered a culture of lawlessness among its employees.

A US rights group announced on Thursday it was filing a petition against Blackwater on behalf of a survivor and the families of three victims.

Turkey recalls ambassador to U.S. over Armenians

. NATO member Turkey recalled its ambassador to the United States for consultations on Thursday after a vote in a U.S. congressional committee branded killings of Armenians by Ottoman Turks genocide.

The committee’s decision is expected to weaken U.S. influence over Turkey at a time when the government is considering a military incursion into mainly Kurdish northern Iraq to fight Kurdish rebels.

Iranian news agency claims: Doris Lessing has Iranian nationality!

. Iranian news agency “Fars” is not happy of international news agencies. They think all agencies are wrong because they did not reported that Doris Lessing is an Iranian writer! Fars news agency claims that if the winner was American or Israeily, all agencies were happy to announce that! but because the winner is an Iranian! all have chosen to be quiet!

Ms. Lessing was born in a British family in Kermanshah-Iran while her parents were working in a bank and a hospital.
She raised in the then-Rhodesia and currently living in the great megapolis of London, has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, becoming the oldest person to have won it.

Armenia involved the illegal purchase of weapons

Oil rises over a dollar on supply worries
