Information spread in Russian media on Azerbaijan’s concluding agreement on buying arms from Russian Federation is groundless, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s press service told the APA.
“Neither Defense Ministries of Azerbaijan and Russia concluded such agreement, nor did Azerbaijan buy arms from Russia. Information regarding it is not true,” they said.
Russian media spread information quoting “Rosoboronexport” company that Azerbaijani government concluded agreement with this company on purchasing 70 armoured carrier marked “BTR-80”.
