Russian troops advanced 40 km (25 miles) from separatist Abkhazia to the town of Senaki inside Georgia proper on Monday, the Georgian Interior Ministry said, APA reports quoting Reuters.

Russian Defense Ministry announced that “operations” were carried out in Senaki Region.

Source from the Ministry stated that second infantry brigade of Georgian Armed Forces placed in Senaki.
